At Perennial Designs we provide private and commercial clients in Cumbria, Lancashire and North Yorkshire with a complete design service, which includes
construction management
and planting service. We work together with our clients through the design and construction
phases, tailoring the service according to their taste, needs
and budget. We are happy to simply design, build and plant, help with
sourcing garden furniture and fittings or carry out a re-vamp and re-plant. We also
take on large scale briefs and develop master plans for anything from small urban

We work with a small number of trusted landscaping contractors
to provide clients with a high quality service suited to their individual needs
and requirements. All plants are sourced from specialist nurseries which can provide
strong, healthy plants and the garden furniture is supplied from local suppliers
that have a reputation for quality.
Present Project
We are presently working on a 18th century walled garden in Casterton in Lancashire,
developing
a pottage design for the vegetable garden and also a design for the main 4000sq metre central formal area.
My clients want to have a relaxing garden in keeping with its surroundings.
The design needs to accommodate young children as well so there needs to be a balance
between the traditions of the walled garden with a modern twist so that it provides
spaces for all the family to enjoy. You can see how the garden is developing
